  1. try to meditate 4 a few minutes and then go to sleep or jus think abt. the gud things in ur life:) b4 u sleep.am sure tat wen u put ur mind to rest u can catch some sleep!!

    tak care..

  2. 1. Watch a boring movie.

    2. Take a warm shower

    3. Dont take naps during the day.

    4. Dont drink soda, coffee, or other caffeine related at night.

    5. Work out/Run

    6. Get a job.

5 & 6 will wear your body out, and by the end of the day you wont think about anything else but sleep, and it will come easy.

I dont recommend sleeping pills because they can become addictive and also have side effects.

  3. watch boring shows or stay in the dark you will get bored eventurally

  4. Okay, so you've screwed your sleep cycle.

What you need to do is go to bed at 7:30 in the evening until you have gotten your sleep cycle back in gear.

You need to draw the curtains, drink a nice warm malt drink before you brush your teeth.  Ask someone to open your curtains when it's dark, so the the morning sun will wake you.

You have to get up when the sun does.  To help set several alarms and leave them on top of a cupboard, so you have to get up to turn them off.

If this does not work within a week, do not take sleeping pills, but ask a doctor to prescribe melatonin.

  5. maybe try to go to sleep for as long until you do and don't feel pressured if its getting late but just try to go to sleep.. maybe you could listen to some relaxing sounds like waterfalls or something on youtube but fall asleep whenever u do and wake up rlly early the next morning. don't fall asleep at all the next day and you will be sooo tired the next night

  6. you need to get into your routine again force yourself to get up early and you will get tired and get to bed ontime and get up when you need to. also when people have too much free time your sleeping habit changes good luck. school starts next tuesday for me lol

  7. Hmm that is tough but I think you can make it...

Have you try drinking something soft like hot chocolate, warm water but never eat anything heavy and coffee is noway?

Perhaps you can always recall the happiest moment in your life or the saddest one in your life...

when you are absorbed into either situation, you go into a state of semi consiousness which is somewhat like sleeping just

with more Random Eye Movement (REM).

I won't suggest you to take medication as it will not last long and has a side effect.

But if problem persist please please I will be really feeling the guilt if you did not consult a professional.

Take care and don't think too much.

  8. you could read a little bit sometimes when i need to go to sleep i'll do that and it'll slowly make me sleepy or you could drink some warm milk. It may sound gross but it will help.

  9. keep goin to bed early and you accustom to it after while.

  10. lol this happens to me you have to get more active in the day and you will fall asleep or you can do what i do and dream that you are in your fav tv show or something like that

  11. Make sure you don't go to sleep or nap or even lay down during the day. Avoid soda or any beverage with caffeine in it. Keep busy all day and eat and sleep at the same time every day. Even if you lay in bed and it takes you a couple of hours to fall asleep the first couple of nights- do it anyhow and don't get up. After a few days your body should fall back into a pattern.

  12. Pills, exercising before. Just try to be really tired before and then you'll pass out on your bed. :)

  13. That's exactly what happened to me. Well what you should do is try to wake up at the time you would normally have to wake up when you get ready for school. Keep waking up at that time everyday, so at night you will e reall tired. Try to stay awake that whole day, and exercise until you get tired, but don't it before you go to bed.

    -Good Luck,

    Alondra

  14. Don't watch TV or be on the computer for at least an hour before you go to sleep.  Studies show that lighting from the screen triggers your brain into being awake and alert.  Some other things:

    # Set a regular time for bed each night and stick to it.

    # Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, such as a warm bath or reading a story.

    # Make the evening a relaxing time. Too much activity close to bedtime can keep you awake.

    # Avoid eating big meals close to bedtime.

    # Avoid consuming anything with caffeine less than six hours before bedtime.

    # Set the bedroom temperature so that it's comfortable -- not too warm and not too cold.

    # Make sure the bedroom is dark.

    # Keep the noise level low.

If you're still having trouble in a month or so, I would say to go to the doctor.  Sometimes insomnia is the result of a medical condition.
