Ive been in the wieght room and biking a total of 20 miles and eating rite for a week and i gained weight?

and im a big guy so that kind of make me sad, im 15 and wiegh 225, and ive been trying to lose some wieght wit school starting and muscle building for winter track for shotput, i dont know what to do, i try, and nothin worked, im really gettin tired of my luk

  1. You will gain weight..muscle weighs more than fat...BUT, you will lose inches......Keep it up.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so you may have gained muscle mass.  Just eat healthy, lots of vegetables, whole grains, lean meat and dairy, and fruits.  And keep exercising.  You might want to try something more aerobic, even just walking or jogging, in order to encourage weight loss.  And drink plenty of pure water.  As you get properly hydrated and gain muscle mass, you may gain weight at first, but as you continue with healthy habits, your weight will normalize naturally.

  4. Muscle weighs more than fat, maybe ur building muscles under flab and if u keep going at it, the fat will start burning off and the muscles will show up
