Ive been infected with the "anti virus xp 2008"

can anyone help me remove it from my pc along with all its components? any help would be appreciated, thanks

dont b worried, its a fake software named xp antivirus 2008/2009, it is itself a virus, u can see instructions on the website below on removing antivirus 2009, or u can download xp/vista antivirus 2008-2009 removal softwares for free here

This is a malware bot that has planted it's self in your computer and will try to make you think you need their program by advertising it to you constantly

You only really need to download this

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Removes Antivirus 2008/2009/XPAntivirus and many more:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

Antivirus programs will NOT remove this as it is a malicious codec, Malwarebytes will remove it and all components.

Download, update and run a full scan with http://www.superantispyware.com follwed by http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-set... update and run both to their conclusion. That will fix it

Automated Removal Instructions for Antivirus XP 2008 using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:



   1. Print out these instructions as we will need to close every window that is open later in the fix.

   2. Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, or MBAM, from the following location and save it to your desktop:
