  1. depending on what type of riding you are doing with the horse...

    englsh:

    500 for board

    150 for shoeing every 6-8 weeks (if he is that big of a horse he more than likely needs shoes)

    200 hay and grain possible more for supplements (usually included in barn fee

    lessons run about 30-50$

    if you are showing trainers have different fees for that too


  2. Remember it costs as much to feed a NAG as it does a GOOD horse.

  3. with food and tackle and housing about 500
