Ive bought a new cricket bat and the bottom is flaking up i might have over oiled it what should i do???

  1. Light coating of oil, leave for 24 hours then apply and shape the product "shoe goo" to the toe of the bat. This will last all season and then you can reapply if necesary.


  2. tape it up ,,,,,remember to stop hitting it on hard ground

  3. if you put that cover on it, it soaks out takes out the excess oil and prevents "crazy cracking" or you may just need a toe guard

  4. Return it to the bat manufacturers as it will still be within waranty. Just tell them that you did everything they told you to do and this happened. They will provide you with a new bat

  5. this is annoying.. return it back to the manufacturer if you think it is their mistake else get a new one and use it correctly :-)...

  6. You should really take it back to your manufacturer and they will send you a new bat.
