Question:

Ive decided to go vegan for a while....for my own reasons..?

what all should i do...wat can i eat..wat cant i eat...i already eat organic foods only so this wont be hard...i rarely eat meat and if i do its just chicken or turkey but im cuttin out all meat and dairy..wat else??

  1. whenever i think of food vegans cant eat is eggs. anything with any kind of egg you cant eat. if you want to make pancakes from a box use water instead of milk. (tastes the same) and i dont no if you are going to be a vegan who doesnt do anything with animals but if you are you cant wear leather and anything like that.

  3. You don't have to eat organic products if you are a vegan.  I have been vegan for a year and I honestly can't afford organic stuff...

    You can search for similar questions and answers on this website by typing things into the search for questions bar above.

  4. You can eat produce, whole grains, organic fake "meats",  organic tofu, soy yogurt, tempeh, seitan, beans, nuts, and seeds.

    Get-GMO free soy milk and other soy products.  Cereal/muesli/granola/oats, nut butters, breads, plain popcorn, pasta with olive oil and garlic, soy ice cream, veggie-no cheese pizza, stir fry, vegan casseroles, etc.

    Watch out for:

    -Soy cheeses--believe it or not, most are not vegan because of their casein content.  Look for vegan brands.

    -Candies and some dry roasted nuts--may contain gelatin

    -Pesto--usually contains cheese

    -Sugar--often filtered through animal bone char, use organic or raw

    -Pasta--may contain egg, simply check the ingredients

    -Margarine--many contain whey, there are vegan versions however

    -Honey--not vegan

    -Breads--make sure there's no honey, milk, etc.

  5. I'm a vegan. You need to omit all animal products including: meat, dairy, eggs, gelatin, and some tricky ones to such as casinate, albumin, and carmine. Read everything carefully and if you are unsure look up the word up at dictionary.com. Some vegans also omit honey, and some only use raw sugar because of the way sugar is bleached and processed.
