Ive downloaded two movies using torrent, but i dont really know much about the software.help??

so do the files ive dowloaded automatically upload themselves? coz my download/upload

limit is jst 3gb,with nights free.

n how can i prevent my computer frm virus? i do have a basic antivirus system,bt im nt sure thats enough.

i staay in india,so do i need 2 bother abt the legal issues?

n tell me if therz anything else to know, abt hw this works n stuff

Yes the files will automatically upload themselves as that is how content is distributed in bittorrent.

If the nights are free, then you should check and see if your bittorrent client has a scheduler.

The best way to avoid viruses from bittorrent is to read comments and ratings at the search sites and only download content which is listed as clean.  Most search sites have these features.  This article lists the more popular torrent search sites and their features:

Yes the transfer of copyrighted content is illegal in India, so you do have to be careful.  PeerGuardian, as mentioned in the other post is a good precaution.

get avast antivirus, it is free and one of the best.  also, download and install peerguardian from http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/ , their software helps to block IP addresses from the companies that want to catch you downloading copyright material (which is illegal wherever you are).  peerguardian needs to be updated daily.  also, at the very least make sure that your windows firewall is turned on.  hope this helps.
