Is it ? Can not get it to do anything. Does anyone know what is is meant to do and how to get it working. Is it a standard fitting just encase you wanted to have this voice control thing added later.. Is it some thing to do with blue-tooth ?

  1. You need to provide a description of the button. In the owners handbook there's a whole list of the options you could have put on the car (including about 20 different things controlled from the steering wheel). Didn't have voice control on mine - i think that's an option on later models

  2. READ the owners manual...... that's why they give you one.

if you can't read, go to the dealer and ask them to show you how it works.....

  3. voice recognition is a feature that allows you to press a button with a face and sound waves.

when you press it, you can say any command, like "station bbc london" and it will recognise your voice and take you to the bbc london station. if you are searching for a radio station, be sure to say "station" before the radio channel.

    hope this helps

  4. The voice recognition button looks like a like a little face with sound coming out of it. If you have an m series car, there is also a button with an m and a circle around it. The "M" button is where you can store your favorite power settings, such as the quickness of the gearchanges, suspension height, damper stiffness, throttle response, and even the power output of the engine.
