You could try making scultures of peoples faces.

Get a peice of card, put everyone in pairs, then get them to model a face using scrunched up newspaper and pva glue, and card stuck together with masking tape to create a face, then cover in tissue paper  with pva glue

and once dried add features with felt tips and funky coloured pens, but you don't have to do faces , you could do murals, or copy paintings and then make them 'come alive' :)
