Assuming that you do not normally experience such events and that you have a non-stress lifestyle, you are adequately hydrated daily and you do not take drugs prescription or otherwise then you should see your doc.

Any abnormal eventing ie heat/pain/blackout/loss of consciousness/impairmnent of cognitive ability/motor function etc. requires further investigation.

The discussion is simple, let doc know what is happening, your concerns, helpful to note any other oddities eg changes in sleep patterns or concentration/mood. You may be refered to a neurologist.

Suggest also you check any sites on migraine as head heat is a common symptom of migraine. (meninges and neural excitation). 1 in 12 people suffer from migraine.
