Ive heard that if u have a background in doctoring then its easy to get into an airline job is that true?

i wanna be an flight attendant so i wanna know if this will help me in the long run... and if u have any advice that would be greatly appreciated =p... thanks =)

  1. no because airliners don't care about doctors very much but the flight attendants are trained to take care of medical situations


  2. Yes, this would be helpful, but I can't tell you it will guarantee yourself a flight attendant job, as the job is so much more than just medical care. It would probably make your training easier, should you get accepted, because when you train you have to learn medical care, and I guess you would have a advantage with that.

  3. Take this in the spirit intended, but if you have medical experience and training, a flight attendant is probably not the best career investment for the money you will be spending and certainly not going to help in paying off the medical school bills.

    Technically speaking, a college degree isn't even needed, just good communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, ability to stand for long periods of time, and a lot of patience.

  4. It will not impede you, however it will not make it any easier to attain a safety sensitive airline position.

    What will impede you is your inability to form a coherent grammatically correct sentence in English.
