am i right in thinking that with each theme park it will take day to cover.

Yes, but it also depends on the time of year you go, because sometimes the queus can be very long, and so the parks can take more than 1 day to explore.

At a minimum of 1 day. Depending on how crowded it can take you longer or shorter to get through the park.

I always allow at least 2 days per park that I really like. and one day for parks, that I am not as interested in.  

Also keep weather in mind and school schedules.

well i think it takes about a day but sometimes the line is pretty long and at times it may be short. you'll probably not going to go around a whole theme park in a day if it's the summer!
