Ive just bought an acer

Question

ive just bought an acer aspire L5100 500gb and dual core etc. it doesnt seem to have any sound output capabiliuty at all ?? is there a speaker syatem in the box?? and the hdmi port at the back .. i want tyo run itL5100 into my lounge tele 42in lcd can i use the hdmi port to do this or do i need to use svga/pc to tv converter type gadget ?? yur help is apprecuiated as itr doesnt seem to have a m,anual?????
