Ive just got a new bike and when i peddle i feel somehtings happing to the chain?

ive just got a new bike but when i change my gears or if i don't change my gears when i start to peddle i feel the chain is slipping or somethingshappening whats shall i do?"

I have that on my bike its just means that the gear derailleur is not lined up right so it makes a 'clonky' noise because it rubs against parts of the gear system. you just have to ajust the tightness of the gear cable until it stops.

If you got the bike from a department store like Walmart or Target it is likely that the bike wasn't adjusted. Take it to a bike shop for a drivetrain tuneup.

Just a reminder... you MUST pedal forward while shifting, and you should NEVER move the shifters while standing still.
