  1. make sure to let it heal properly, then try excercising. but im sure you will get enough of that with a new baby :o}

  2. Be patient...after a c-section you will retain a lot of water.  I was still swollen after 5-6 weeks, and then my baby weight seemed to just go away.  I didn't exercise, but I did breastfeed exclusively...it really helped.  At about 4.5 months, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight.  Unfortunately, my clothes did not fit me well until about 6 months or so.  Once you regain your strength and are not soooo tired (after your 6 wk exam, of course), maybe you can start exercising again.  Just remember to start out slowly and don't be too hard on yourself.  Don't feel pressured to bounce back to your past weight quickly (I know it seems like all of Hollywood is back to a size 2 after 2 weeks), just be patient and it will happen.

  3. First off breastfeeding is the best way for any baby weight. But after a c-section, wait till your 6 week check up with the doctors & ask them if you can start slowly getting into exercises. They will advise you on what you should & shouldnt do at this phase. Then once you have recovered more, try pilates. They are great!!!

    Congratulations, on your new baby there & enjoy that baby!!!
