Ive recently come back from vacation and wanted to copy some of the pictures that i took on my phone (an env2)

i saw a list of pictures but i wasnt able to see them so i clicked move pictures

when i went to go put the memory card back in my camera it said i had no images so i plugged it into my computer and all the pictures i had taken using the camera on my phone were there instead!

i think i must have overwrote them or something but i need to know if there is any way to get them back

ive downloaded file recovery systems but it only brings up the pictures from my phone

those pictures were very special to me please help!

  1. Don't reformat the card. Don't take anymore photos or transfer anymore files until you have decided that you are done trying to recover files from this card.

You used the camera card in your phone? Not a good idea, as the phone probably formatted the card, and when you transferred images, you overwrote the files you wanted.

I would try a few other data recovery programs. You can generally try these for free, to determine if there are recoverable files before you buy.

Download the demo for PhotoRescue and see if it can find anything.

Get a dedicated card for your phone, and don't interchange them with your camera. If you do, make sure you download your photos from your camera's memory cards before using them in other devices.
