  1. I have heard that white vinegar works...don't know for sure but maybe worth a try, if you can handle the smell!

  2. they sell lice medicine/treatment at any pharmacy.  just buy it and follow directions.

  3. I believe the red are at a "baby" stage.  For some tips, read the CDC link I gave you.  Hope that helps!

    http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dpd/parasites/...

  4. Those little red ones are not lice. Go to the doctor.

  5. Use the Nix shampoo.  Wash all their clothes and bed linens in hot water.  Repeat.  They're hard to get rid of.

  6. they are red when they are filled with blood..

and the most i can say is keep using that comb..and the nix shampoo..

one of my friends had them for YEARS

  7. My sister has had lice MANY times but I have never ever noticed large black bugs or little read ones. Ive only seen the nits that are white and grey bugs.

Call your doctor and they can prescribe you some lice killer much better than the nix and over the counter products.

I would also ask about those other bugs your children have.

Also you need to vacuum everything and bag up all bedding & stuffed animals for I believe it is 30 days. As for everything else WASH, WASH & WASH again! When you are picking and combing through their hair go sit on a porch so if they fall of their heads they dont land in your house.

  8. Have you called their doctor to see what else you can do? That's awful, I wish you luck!

  9. my friend got lice when she was little and she tried everything to get rid of it.... finally she tried dog shampoo and surprisingly it worked!

  10. I used to have the same problem.  Honestly, dog shampoo (the kind for fleas) worked the best for me.  A couple of days after that try coloring their hair.  I don't know why, but it prevents reinfestation.  I usually dye kids hair as close as I can to their natural color.  Also, as far as your house goes, go to the garden section of any discount store (Wal-Mart, Target, etc) and purchase some outdoor bug spray.  Spray the couches, mattresses, etc.  It is stinky, but it is the only thing I found that works.  You have to use Febreez afterwards though.

    Hope that helps!

  11. put some of that lice shampoo, it really works
