Ive never slept at a friends place..?

Question

im 15 years old & ive never slept at a friends house! when my friends have sleep overs im never allowed to sleep over. my parents let me stay til like 10 but then they have to come & get me.. my parents just hate the idea of sleep overs! it really stresses me! im not even allowed to sleep at my best friends house who ive know for 5 years!

is there anything i can do to convince my parents into letting me sleep over my friends house?

I don't know if this will make you feel any better but i've never slept at a friend's either! I've actually known my friend since we were both 6 and now i'm 17. My parents are very strict and i think i kinda get why they don't want me to.. lol. Although they should trust me a little more. For me, my parents think that this sleepover will be with boys or something like that or we could sneek out to a party or something. I don't know, what that's the way my parents think and i'm not gonna change that! Just look at it this way.. you have 2 or 3 more years left to go to college and then you can do whatever you want!!

look up articals on the internet, and show them to ur parents about the more they hold u back the more u will want try things u know are bad (rebeling againsed ur parents) it might work

Well you got a same situation as me. My parents wont allowed me but oh well. About your question, you must convinced them you can say "Please mom can i go for a sleep over with my bestfriend (or classmate) iam old enough to care of myself" make sure you say it with puppy eyes ^^. If it wont work just say "Mom, i know you hate sleepovers but i want to do it with my bestfriend and you know that i know her ages ago ^^" so is it okay if can i do a sleepover?"

Have a sleepover at your house first

And let them realize that sleepovers arent bad, well be well behaved and dont sneak out! lol

Cant they have a sleep over at yours instead ?

Maybe if your parents see that you wont be taking drugs or sneaking in guys or smoking or getting drunk then they will allow you to stay over.

I know it sounds awful but thats what parents think about, you have to convince them this wont happen.

It could be a religious thing ask them about it,and have them give you a better reason then......because I said so,or I just don't trust so,and so's parents

They just want to keep you safe! They don't do it to punish you. Although you are 15, so you do need a little more freedom at that age. Just talk to your parents about it and explain how upset it makes you. Good Luck

Your parents are afraid that something might happen.

My mom was that way.

My little sister wanted to go sleep over but my mom wouldn't allow her.. I suggested my mom to go to my sister's friend house and check it out.. Talk to the parents and stuff and find out more about where she is sleeping and stuff.

My sister went there and had one blast of a time.

Perhaps doing that works.

I had the same problem. I turned 15 last month and went to my first  sleepover.The way I convinced my dad was I told him how I feel. I told him I feel left out when all of my friends are at a sleepover and I am not with them.
