Notice how wings have not advanced at home throughout the entire playoffs, they advanced at away. Round one- they advanced with a win at nashvile in game 6, 3-0. Round two- they swept colorado with a game 4 in colorado with an 8-2 win. Round 3 (the WCF) They advanced in dallas with a game 6 win 4-1. And now... its the stanley cup finals going into game 6 at away... This is deja vu from the wfc when we lost game 5 at home.. This is a very interesting cuincidence in my opinion, so this makes me wonder if history will repeat itself and wings get a game 6 win. what is everybody elses opinion about this cuincidence?

See...just coincidences...that's all...we'll find out who wins tomorrow...at the end of the game.  =)

  3. thats weird but penguins are going to win tomorrow, sorry

  4. Very true!  It seems that there's a lot of pressure and distraction at home.  Also, I think that the manner in which they lost will make them very angry (with the three invented penalties, 2 in overtime) and they will come out strong and not nervous tonight.  Dare I say, I'm looking for a blowout tonight.

  5. Well if you want to even go farther.. the last 6 series the Wings have won in the playoffs... have all been done so on the road!

^ none of that really matters, though

  6. what that tells me is they like to humiliate opponents on their own ice

  7. The thing is the Red Wings have been in over 22+ Stanley cup finals it is just natural to them. It is like another game for them. When they play there last home game of the season they know "Oh have a few more months" just because they are so used to it. I was really suprised when they didn't sweep it but yes i have noticed they are good on the road

  8. I'll say this. Game 6 is a must win for both teams. Pittsburgh, for obvious reasons. Detroit's is a little more complicated. If they lose, not only do they allow a team to comeback and tie the series, but they give the young players of the Pens a chance to build momentum. I've said that the Penguins were an emotional team from the start, and I think that's been displayed throughout the playoffs, especially in this series. I hope Detroit pulls it off. It would be terrible to go from being :34 seconds from the cup to losing in a game 7.
