  1. this q doesnt even make sense

  2. I recognize it. There are times Asian people believe that I am too white in the way I act and I am of Filipino, Hawaiian Ancestry. Some Asians that come to visit America are very traditional and not used to seeing other Asians not conforming to tradition. That's why some Asians against another Asian are based on values.

The thing I do have to admit here is I'm proud that I don't categorize myself to any race, so I'm in the clear. Tradition of Asian culture seems to be of the past, but customs, values, and family ties are very special.

One thing I have to say I am very proud of is that I am an American.

  3. I don't know how general it is, but I do know it happens. I had an asian Physics teacher who would not touch or even directly address one of my fellow students because of some caste system or other.

  4. I know this...

Bengali's are quite a proud race and consider themselves trustworthy and different to say...Pakistanis.

even though their country has been invaded time after time the Bengali's remain a hard working and polite gentle race.

This is one particular friction between the asians.

    They are divided.

That is not even starting on their particular religion. Which, we cannot forget, is not all the same.

You hear on the news stuff about the sunni muslims for example.

Even mosque to mosque of the same religion there are some differences and their always will be.

It is like  What school did you go to.

Some schools are forever fighting each other.

Regardless of race. But, I digress.

    There are some race issues.

I am also of the opinion that Asians are a lot more Racist towards whites in Britain than I think the whites are against the Asians. I have experienced examples of this myself.

Like some Asians say their own women are for breeding and the white girls are for fun.

    What is all that about.

    Very good question,

it has really got me thinking!!

  5. Are you referring to East Asians, South Asians or Central Asians?

I find that all those groups have some sort of superiority complex, though some more than others.

  6. I don't think racism is the word.  There is prejudice between Koreans and Japanese people.  I have friends from both ends that tell me the faults that the other one has.  I think it comes from the status that each country has in asia and the fight for the lead in technology.

  7. What you consider "racism" between Asians is probably nationalism or cultural bias.

The 20th-century was rather brutal in Asia.  There are still lingering bad feelings.

  8. sometimes.

I am half filipino and half white. When I used to get asked what race I was and I'd reply with, 'half asian and half white' some of them would ask what kind of asian I was, and I'd say filipino. They'd then tell me that I wasn't asian. Yeah silly me, and here I thought the phillipines was in Asia.

If that's true, and my Dad was born and raised in England, and came to America when He was younger... and if I also come from irish, scottish, and swedish roots would that mean I can't qualify myself as European? ugh.

  9. I dont think so I feel asians are being more racist to people whos not asian. Why do you say that?

  10. I think you're illiterate.
