my bf and i havent been using protection for a while now and im just wondering why im not pregnant though were not ready for a child!

I honestly have only used a condom twice in my life. I had s*x for the first time when I was 17 and I am 25 now...I was only on BC for like 2 of those yrs but always for got to take it. I just now got pregnant in April with my first baby after all that time. And I had several s*x partners. And my bf told me that he did go inside me when I did get pregnant. So some girls are just not as fertile as others who can have s*x once and get pregnant. Or the guys sperm isnt that strong. But i did it for 7 yrs without getting pregnant, at one point I thought I couldnt get pregnant but here I am pregnant. So if you are seriouslt not ready for one, then I suggest getting on BC and taking it how its suppose to be taken, cause it wont last forever, and dont forget about precum, it could get you pregnant as well.

Okay, weird question.  why are you having unprotected s*x if you are not ready for a child?  Anyway, it can take longer than to get pregnant.  It is about timing and knowing your body.  It isn't just going to happen if it is just random throughout the month.  If you do want to get pregnancy you should start a BBT chart or something.  If you are not ready for a child, than use protection!!

Well me and my fiance haven't used protection coming up on a year this month (he had been pulling out successfully lol) but now as of March we have been actively TTC/Trying for 5 months now and I'm not pregnant haven't even had a scare (and I have regular cycles). So with that said I think its one of those things where it will happen when it happens and it is meant to happen (we just don't have much control over these things to a degree/extent). But at the same time and in your case if you are NOT ready for a child use protection! Why not use it if you're not ready? Don't get yourself in a situation that you are not ready for.

8 months isn't really that long, if it goes on for over a year you should go see your doc however it could be your timing is out.  If you are seriously trying there are things you can monitor to find out when you're ovulating and maximise your chances.
