Ive recently bought the sims 2 and i need help its not working?

its saying i dont have compatable drivers or sumthing like my direct x isnt working right and i need someone to please email me and help me if you know how to update video drivers to make the sims 2 work PLEASEEEEE

If you reread the error message it probably says: Failed to find directX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter. This means that your graphics adapter/card does not support the directX 9.0c features required by the game, namely 3D acceleration and Transform and Lighting.

To find out what card you have right-click on your desktop then choose properties. Click on the settings tab then click advanced. Click on the adapter tab. There you will find all the details of your graphics adapter.
