  1. Being vegan is about using products that don't CONTAIN animal products.  That's what you should be looking for.

  2. Loreal bare mineral powder

    Tested on animals.

    Covergirl pressed powder

Procter & Gamble product. Tested on animals.

    Covergirl mascara

Procter & Gamble product. Tested on animals.

    Walgreens refreshing aloe leg lotion

Likely tested on animals.  They refuse to answer the question.

    Secret deodorant

Procter & Gamble product. Tested on animals.

    Ban deodorant

Made by KAO Brands - Probably tested on animals.  They refuse to answer the question.

Burts Bees chapstick - Not tested on animals.

    Aveeno shave gel

Made by Johnson & Johnson - Tested on animals

    Gilette razor

Procter & Gamble product. Tested on animals.

    Garnier shampoo/conditioner

Made by L'oreal - Tested on animals.

Walgreen's claims to carry a "wide variety" of products that have not been tested on animals.  Your best bet is to print out the list of companies who do not test, and take it with you to Walgreens.

Good (mainstream) options are Almay, Estée Lauder, and Clinique.

My favorite brands are Jason, Nature's Gate, and Alba (great shampoo!) but I purchase all of them at Whole Foods, or HEB Plus.

And FYI- sadly, Tom's of Maine is owned by Colgate-Palmolive, who test on animals.

  3. secret deoderant-- toms deoderant

ummmmm.... burts bees isn't tested  on animals

here look at this website www.caringconsumer.com/pdfs/companiesDoT...

  4. Just my opinion-- I'd continue using the products until they're used up.  Honestly, how are you going to benefit animals by wasting something?  Now, obviously, you could be furthering animal cruelty by spending MORE money on MORE animal-tested cosmetics, but on the cosmetics you already have, what's done is done-- the money's already spent.  Avoid waste by continuing to use them until they're gone.  Instead of buying new cosmetics now and wasting the gas that has to ship the cosmetics to you.

  5. http://www.uncaged.co.uk/crueltyfree.htm

This is a website that will tell you all the products that are tested on animals, most products will tell you on the package if they don't...

Btw don't listen to what ppl say about this being a stage. I became a vegetarian at the age of 16, I'm now 22...it was never a stage...

  6. Walgreens.......ur sure theres not a trader joes, whole goods or whatever that stores called, wild by nature by you?

    ---Revlon make ups good

---Kiss my face lotion&shave gels good

---Most chap sticks contain lanolin or some animal by product so Im not sure what you should do about that but just do some research on secret animal ingredients.

---Toms deoderant, havent tried it yet but hopefully its good

---I have a new shampoo every month, Im unsure of all the names but I know they smell good and work good.

    Hope I helped =]

    Get toms toothpaste too!
