  1. First I would get my eyes checked medically.

An anti histamine tablet may well help.

But one thing I know works well as a temporary measure is to lie back with used wet teabags on your eyes for 10 minutes or so. (You can do this in breaks at work). My son had eye problems when he was young and this advice was given to me by the GP. We have used it ever since for severe headaches, sore eyes etc.

    It works.

  2. Look at your environment. There may be something causing an allergic reaction from your eyes. Have you been sneezing at all or had any sinus pressure? Have you had any headaches? Try taking a Benadryl tablet before going to work. This is an antihistamine that works inside of the body rather than an antihistamine drop or ointment that is used externally. If you have any further concerns or eye discomfort, you should see your doctor.

  3. this may sound stupid, try bathing your eyes in cold calomine tea, its a herbal remody my GP suggested, it worked wonders for my son who had frequent eye infections that no amount of hospital drugs could fix, you can pick up the tea bags in any supermarket

  4. Hi, it seems you have exact the same problem as what i have, bloodshot eyes, pain, watering, iching! and one more thing i got, dont know if you have it! my eyes keep twiching, like a muscle spasim.

I have recently been to the docters and they said what i already know from here: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/f... (look there also for more answers)

The doctor said of two things which sound rather what i have and im doing, one is sleeping so little, or staying awake for such a long time and then sleeping for such a little time, and another is stress.

Well there wasnt no medicen to give, only to listen to his advice: sleep at a good time, and bath my eyes with water every morning untill they have got better.

This has worked, im fine now.

    Hope this helps.
