The Bayern Munich striker is likely to part ways with the club at the end of this season after having a troubled 2011/12 campaign.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivica-Olic-c17399 is almost certain to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this campaign following a troubled period under Jupp Heynckes. The manager has been reluctant to use the Croatian on a regular basis, which has become frustrating
for the 32-year-old.
Olic recently scored twice for the club after coming on as a substitute, but has still failed to impress his manager and has failed to cement a place in the starting XI.
The striker stated that he is highly likely to part ways with the Allianz-Arena outfit at the end of this season if the situation stays the same. He is clearly unhappy with the lack of playing opportunities this season and wants
to play regularly to make into the national squad for the European championship.
While talking to sports website, Goal.com, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 striker further added:
"It is most likely that I will leave Bayern in the summer, as the club have not yet spoken to me. I would have preferred that they already addressed the issue. I have a family, my children go to school. I cannot wait until May
to plan my future. Right now, it looks more likely that I'll go."
Olic stated that he always gives one hundred percent for his club, and Heynckes could shuffle his side in order to preserve energy for some important games coming up in the UEFA Champions League. He stated that he would prefer
renewing a deal with the Reds as it will be extremely hard to say goodbye to the ever supportive fans.
"The coach has seen what I can do. I feel that he can count on me more now. The farewell to the fans is the biggest disappointment. They have seen that I can fulfil my duties here. I have never asked for a regular place, but we
play many matches and [if I play] we can save energy," Olic concluded.
The attacker has only managed 11 league appearances so far this season, and most of them have been as a second-half substitute.
