Ivy League schools....?

Question

I just learned that Ivy League schools will pay full tuition to low income minority students who cannot afford their own way to the school. Now, I have no problem with the low income part, but isn't it blatant discrimination that this benefit is only offered to minority students? Isn't discrimination ILLEGAL? And how can anyone justify excluding poor white kids?

Sorry if I sound a little mad but I get really worked up about retarded politically correct c**p like this.

Universities have been offering scholarships to outstanding students all over the US for any decades--students of all backgrounds. Many of these scholarships are based on financial need.

The only people who ever object are racists--mainly because they are jealous since they are  too  stupid to qualify.

Ivy League schools are not public universities, so they automatically have a little more room to wiggle.

You have the same rational argument against so-called affirmative action that many other critics do.  This is an old debate.

Still, black and Latino students are disproportionately poorer than white students.  So your argument, while valid, won't shut these policies down in the near future.

Many Ivies are giving free tuition to ALL low-income students.  It's called need-based financial aid, and is completely legal.

Yes I agree. It should just be about the amount of income you have, not your race. The only bit of advice I can offer you is to do what I do and do the best in school that you possible can and get into some extra curricular activities that are both fulfilling and helpful for college entrance.

This is exactly why you don't want to vote for Obama or any other liberal communist Democrat! They make life unfair to those who are not black. Obama and his wife got free schooling at Harvard and Princeston beacuse of the color of their skin. The only way you change this is that you vote for good conservative candidates.
