What schools in Canada are considered Ivy League? Considering the American counterparts like Harvard, Princeton and Yale...

also, what are your personal thoughts on University of Waterloo? Your impressions on it-

  1. Pretty sure Canadian ivy is an oxymoron.

  3. The Canadian U's don't have the high highs as American U's do, they are more even, with different ones having different strengths. On an international reputation level, none are as strong as Harvard, Yale or Princeton which is why so many top Canadian students attend college in the US. Look at the matriculation list from top Canadian high schools such as UCC, they are filled with US schools.

  4. Well, the Ivy League is a football league, so technically it's only the set schools and all are in the US.  But McGill and U Toronto are considered some of the best schools in Canada.
