  1. I don't know much about this, but I'll tell you what I know.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN import or ship a bike larger than 150 CC into Vietnam. The big bikes are rare, but they're there. I regularly seen Japanese crotch rockets buzz through Hanoi during my last trip.

You know that the Vietnamese customs officials will rape you at the dock if you go by the book to ship your Harley there. However, there might be an easier and better way to accomplish this. I heard of a few Vietnam Veterans who took motorcycle tours through Vietnam with their own Harleys. You may want to Google for this information, contact someone who has done this and get the inside scoop on how they did it.

Sorry that I can't do much more for you on this.

  2. i only know from rumors, but along with customs, tariffs , and registration "bribes " may be required.... but i'll deffer to "dan or anyone else with more "factual expierience"....i'm sure you know you can get a suitable bike over there, one that may be more easily maintained/ repaired when it comes to that ....

  3. import tax.....n also they don't let u import any bike tat is over 150 cc..(i think)....

  4. don't!!!!

u'd be charged a fortune..or worse , even lose yr precious  motors.
