I´m a new english teacher looking for help?

i´m teaching english but i´m not a Teacher, and now I must to do test for my kids and I don´t have a idea how to do it ...I´m working with children between 3-6 years old, whit a book called "squeeze" by mc millan. Please help me. thanks

You don't really test 3 year olds.............

Are you teaching them the same thing???  Like, are you teaching them all vocabulary?  Or are you teaching the 5 and 6 year olds how to spell the words also??  If this is the case, I think you would need 2 different assessment tools.

If you are just teaching the vocabulary, I would use pictures and ask the children to identify different things.  You could photocopy the book (which would make it a little easier, since they are familiar with the pictures) or you could use another source.

You could ask the child to demonstrate knowledge of the vocabulary by having them model actions.   Ask the child to squeeze the playdough, ask them to roll it, see if they can select a certain color.  Remember to NOT demonstrate with your hands since you are testing their vocab knowledge.
