Question:

I´m going to Dublin university in october but live in Wales and can´t get a student loan. What can I do?

If anybody can help It would be great. Are there other loan companies can I apply for one from Ireland?

  1. Speak to the uni in Dublin that you plan to attend. Start by calling admissions, and asking who you should talk to. They will have some sort of student finance/financial aid office, who will be able to give you guidance. Both UCD and Trinity get a good number of international, specifically UK, students attending, and they will be able to give you some sources of funding that you can investigate.

    Other options:

    - You can try a bank in Ireland. The Bank of Ireland is the big one over there. Contact them directly.

    - Have you tried banks in Wales? I assume you have. If not, contact banks in Wales directly, and speak to them about student loan options.
