I’m a pregnant mom with 3 grown sons. Can anyone relate?

I’m 46 years old and I have three wonderful (and grown-up) sons, ages 23, 21 and 17, and my dh and I are expecting our fourth soon (I’m 27 weeks pregnant). Thing is, I’m feeling out of place being a pregnant woman in her mid-forties. I can’t relate to any of my girlfriends; they say that they are through having children, and love having an empty nest with their husbands. I am so looking forward to having this baby and giving him (yes...it’s another boy!) all the love he needs, but I’m just wondering if there are any other pregnant mom on this board going through what I’m going through. I’d love to share experiences!

I'm 13. My dad has three older children. In 32, 37, 40. Kids keep you young. My dad is 67 and doesn't look a day over 50. Yes he has some shoulder problems so he can't really play any sports with me, my sister, and my brother, and he really wishes he could.I no this isn't like one of the answers you were looking for but like, my parents are old, and i'm just saying good luck.

well my friends mom was like almost 50 when her son was born but she was older than you were but have fun!

My boyfriend has a 5 year old brother.  The boy has 3 older brothers (18, 23, 24.)  If you wanted another kid then that's awesome.  Just be careful not to dive into grandmother mode (which is what my bf's parents have done.)  I LOVE that kid, but he has everything and is never punished.  That is going to bite them in the but when he is older.  Just be prepared for them to think one of your other sons is his dad or you to be called grandmother.  Strangers do it to us all the time.
