I'd suggest the big sights like... Big Ben (Westminster), Buckingham Palace (Green Park/Victoria) and Trafalgar Square (Charring Cross).  Go shopping down Oxford Street and Regents Street.

    For transport info check out:

You can pick up a tourist map from a vending machine at most tube stations.. it gives you discounts to some sites and then you can walk around.

  4. http://www.welcometolondon.com/attration...

    try that

  5. How do you get here? That depends a lot on where you are coming from, doesn't it ?

  6. I personally love going to the Tate Modern every now & then really really high with my mates.

  7. i wouldnt bother its a bit of a dump and way over expensive:) maybe see big ben tower bridge, london eye... if you have time go see a show.. have fun and be careful

  8. The London eye, The Tower of London, The Tutankhamen Exhibition is in London at present and will probably not be back again for twenty or thirty years; so that is really a must see! Harrods ( Not allowed in wearing jeans or carrying back packs but it is worth taking a look around the store....the prices are a shock though.) Buckingham palace, at least from the outside if you are short of time and Hyde Park..take a cheap picnic lunch with you and chill out for a couple of hours. If you want to eat somewhere special the try Simpsons in the Strand..the most English restaurant in the world..for either lunch or,if money is not an object, dinner,or Simpsons tavern near Tower Bridge. Check out the link below for good information about London restaurants and deals.

The best thing to do with a city as large as London and with as many things worth seeing is to get a tourist list of attractions and choose to spend one day in each area you decide to visit, otherwise you will spend half your time on the tube dashing from place to place when you could easily have filled up a whole day within two or three adjoining streets.

  9. lol cheesy!

  10. You must see Green Street in East London! Its fantastic!

  11. go on the london eye its fantastic!

There's probably some concerts on at the time and evenst on at Trafalger Sq and Leciester Sq is good place for discounted cinema and theatre tickets. oh and Buckingham palace if ur into that. lol. you soooo need to expereince sitting on the tube lmao! it is pure madness. haha

    oh and Harrods

  13. There's so many things to do in London, that it really depends what you're interested in... I've still not seen it all and I've been here three years!

Maybe check out what is going on at the dates you're here, http://www.spoonfed.co.uk/ is a useful site to check.

Also, remember that with Madame Tussauds, Tower of London, and many of the other big tourist attractions, the queues are huge, so try to plan and book ahead to save time. Have fun!
