I was born in Kearney Nebraska, on Feb 2 1990 and I use Megan Blakely as my online alias. :D

I’ve been curious about my biological mother for a long time, I brought it up with my mom a few years ago and she seemed hurt so I didn’t bring it up again. Mom actually brought it up a few nights ago and told me that If I still wanted to know about her (my birth mom) she (my mom) would help me as much as she could. She said they signed something years ago that said if we wanted to contact her she had to ask for the contact first or something like that. They used to send pictures on my birthday every year until my birth mom didn’t ask for them anymore.

I love both of my parents very much, they’ve given me everything I’ve needed and most of what I’ve wanted. I have an older brother, also adopted, that I adore.

My mom took me to Kearney when I turned 15, as a surprise, we were on what we called a “Skating Tour of America” (I was into ice skating for a long time) and she took me to a Pizza Hut, apparently where my birth mother went into labor, and then to The hospital where I was born. If I remember it’s called “Good Samaritan.” I got to look at some of the birthing rooms, where I might have been born and at my birth records and at the intensive-whatever-it’s-called place they took the premature babies (I don’t think I was premature enough to have had to stay there.) My Birth Mothers Name is Dawn E. Blakely.

I don’t want to hurt anyone, if she doesn’t want to meet me or know about me I will respect that.

I guess I’m hoping that someone who knows her will come across this and pass it along. Or that she will discover it. Or that someone who’s been through this knows what I can do to look for her. Any legal suggestions are welcome.

Wish me luck and God bless anyone who reads this.
