I’m losing my feelings for my boy friend. Is it simply a phase that will subside?

Lately I have not felt the connection we once had. I know I still love him, but I do not feel it is as genuine as it had been in the past I have also been under a lot of stress lately. I am confused by these feelings. Is it simply a phase that will subside? Or should I just call it quits? To make matters worse, I have also started talking to this other guy I met at work. We are just friends but I know that he has romantic feelings for me and I am developing those same feelings for him. I realize this isn’t fair to my boyfriend, what should I do?

  1. You should break up with your boyfriend. The fact that you are questioning your love for him is a bad sign. This could be a phase, but more than likely it is not. You said yourself, you fail to feel the connection you and he once had. It isn’t fair for you to keep this a secret. The more you try to ignore it the more you will end up thinking about it.

It also isn’t fair that you are flirting with someone at work behind his back and having “romantic feelings” for this person. How would you feel if you knew he was flirting with some girl behind your back? Do the right thing and breakup with him. Tell him you need time to figure some things out. You may end up realizing that you really do love him, or you may realize you don’t. Either way, you will be taking a chance that he might move on and never take you back.
