J Fenwick will enjoy the festivity brought home by Skywalker Sally by winning the Bags Track Championship – Standard
Covering the distance of 462 meters, the Grade IT chase Bags Track Championship – Standard made trainer J Fenwick’s b***h, Skywalker Sally the star of the show. She impressively won the purse of £200 by hitting the wire at first place.
The trap 1 racer wearing red and white jacket was not sent in with the most ideal odds, her fanatical chase assisted her in the struggle, to win the chase.
The idyllic hound trainer D Fretwell’s Royal Pick was amazingly swift from the beginning, but his pace was not enough to compete with his contender Skywalker Sally.
The trap racer with 11 – 4 odds got bumped in as she commenced through her box. Not taking the situation in over her head, she greased up her elbows and fought her way out through the pack of hounds.
After accomplishing in finding enough space to rally all the way to success, Skywalker Sally was spotted at the pointer position.
While sustaining at the lead, the hound gave her trainer a chance to sing the songs of praise, when she vanquished the favourite hound Royal Rick in 27.92 seconds, by 1 ¾ length.
Trainer D Fretwell’s trap 4 racer unfortunately lost the opportunity to bring home festivity, although he was able to acquire the lead during the three quarter bend.
With the 5 – 2 F odds Royal Ricky took 28.06 seconds to cross over.
The third position was secured by trainer A Stone’s Big Stew, who began his chase from trap 3 with 7 – 2 odds. Wearing white and black jacket, hound’s pace got hampered during the first bend, which was the main reason behind his defeat.
Crossing over in 28.34 seconds, Big Stew managed to finish off third in the lure chase.
Lost Harry began his race from trap 6 for trainer J Calvert, but his start was extremely sluggish and lethargic. The black dog was left far behind due to his slow start and it took him 28.42 seconds to hit the wire at fourth place.
The trap 2 racer Desert Boy, after getting bumped in during the initial lengths, forced him to wrap up his quest at the fifth place. Wearing blue and white jacket trainer A McKenna’s three-year-old hound crossed over in 28.50 seconds.
Trainer A Heyes’s hound helped in concluding the quest for £200, the fawn dog managed to reach the line at the sixth position, due to the obstruction faced during his chase.
Skywalker Sally accomplished in grabbing the spot light by settling the Bags Track Championship – Standard in a blink of an eye for trainer J Fenwick.
