  1. as far as was just disclosed on "nascar now," coleman will be driving the #96 at michigan, but according to coleman himself it's a week-by-week arrangement - he doesn't know if he'll be driving the car after that or not at this moment, at least not that he's allowed to let on. nothing was said about hall of fame racing releasing j.j. yeley.

EDIT: i just read an article on scene daily affirming what you are saying. i don't know why brad coleman said that this is only a week-by-week deal at the moment. maybe he didn't know. they also only very briefly announced at the end of the show that the DEI deal with truex is complete, but had no details. so who knows? does look like j.j.'s out though.

  2. i hope he finds a good ride i bet if he got on a team like hendrick witch might happen since mears is gone at the end of the year he could be a really good driver

  3. I think he's fired.

  4. Mex American....where to I need to send my sympathy card?

  5. About time.  Tony Raines should have never been released from that ride.  I've said it since the day he was released.  He kept the car well in the top 35 and had some very impressive finishes.  They'd be dumb not to ask him back.

  6. Impressive move from the Eppmeister!  I guess HOF spent some time this weekend looking into the "Mirrors."  Brad Coleman is an exceptional young talent, and I hope to see bot HOF and Brad succeed!

I bet our troll is really hurting.  First they cancel the race in Mexico City, and now JJ Yeley lost his job.  She's probably going to start posting about how NASCAR hates Mexicans.

  7. I feel bad for J.J., he should've got his act together.

At least his troll will go away.

  8. It is sickening how these teams just kick a driver out in mid season

just because Yeley  has been given a sucky car! JJ Yeley is a good driver. He has potential.

I just don't understand why they couldn't wait til the end of the season

to release him. They broke their own contract. They got Yeley's hopes

    up.

Just imagine your self as a race car driver , signing a contract thinking

you are going to race a whole season, then to have it yanked out of

your hands by money hungry idiot team leaders! It is sickening!

  9. It's all a conspiracy. You know JJ Yeley is the bestest with the mostest.  They turned down the horsepower when he had the #18 and then turned it back up when Kyle got the #18 but only AFTER JJ left them for this other ride.

Now he is out for the duration of the year so they will probably be turning the horsepower back up in that car as well. No one wants JJ to win.

  10. i'm all for it

    brad's from my hometown

  11. JJ Yeley would finish  2 laps down in a 1 lap race

    Suprised it took this long.

  12. I was wondering how long it would be before he got replaced.. JJ is not a bad driver I think he needs to go do what David Stremme is doing, get a Nationwide ride, and try coming up again..I feel bad for him but Brad Coleman is a super good young driver who is gonna have a great future.. I think JJ could be back eventually, maybe if he has a good season or two in Nationwide, he'll be back..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  13. I didn't know anything about it until now.  I like J.J. myself but I agree that they didn't put as much into the car with him as Kyle, just like Tony is getting the short end of the stick, along with Gordon and Johnson with Hendrick.  They are concentrating on Jr. but they know what they are doing I am sure......  Best of luck to all of the drivers.

  14. J.J. is good people, I hate this for him.  Mex American is probably crying her eyes out.

  15. laganos the next j.j. just crashes more

  16. he was a bad driver anyways send him back to arca

  17. I feel bad for J.J. as I don't think he is a bad race car driver.  Brad Coleman... honestly I don't know who he is so...

  18. What? I heard JJ Yeley was the future of NASCAR. This will go down as the biggest mistake in the history of mistakes!!

  19. I didn't know about it until I read your question, Ben.  You maybe should have broken the news more gently.  There's at least one person who is going to be crushed.  ; )

Although I like Yeley, it's not really surprising that he's being replaced.  Brad Coleman has a lot of potential, and I wish him luck.
