J-Pop the next big thing?

Okay so i have a theory that J-pop(japanese pop) will be really popular. A lot of my friends like many many japanese songs(due to the influence of anime to america). Just wondering is it really that big? I really like japanese songs =P so i dont mind but just wondering what this community thinks.

  3. I only listen to japanese songs when I like the animes they come from.  Otherwise, they tend to annoy me.
