1.  From Jamaica, you can take the Q44 or the  Q20 A or B up main street to the Kissena Blvd/Roosevelt Ave area which is a very heavily Chinese and Korean area, almost to the exclusion of others.  If you go, shop in the stores there for the best produce prices.

2.  Cheap shopping can be had along Jamaica ave, from Parson's Blvd east and down some of the side streets as well.
