I am a highschool senior living in the USA. However, I don't want to study here. I would like to study at JCU. The Cairns university, preferably.

BUT(there's always a but in these questions) I'm an undergraduate student, not to mention an international student. I would like to know if there are any scholarships for my situation, since I plan on staying in Australia for.. well, the rest of my life. Any scholarships for that?

Anyone know what I have to do to

1) get a student visa

2) get into australia

3) currency changes?(gotta be some.)

4) what australia's really like

5) and end up living there :]

Please, any information will be helpful! About JCU, Australia or about those scholarships! kthanks

:D

  1. pl write to JCU and tell them your wish.  i doubt u will get a scholarship unless u can prove that u come fr poor background.

u need to get to the nearest australian embassy in DC? to get more info. or go online and check the immigration requirements.

when accepted in JCU, u can get visa easily.

aust is beautiful but dont get homesick.  US$1 = A$1.077

if u hv friends there - it will help.  make friends with some bahais. www.bahai.org  - they will help u adapt to life in aust.

cairns is almost tropical climate.  u go further south, it can get cold.

u also need a high school diploma / certificate to enter.  IB / "A"  levels will help
