JFK Terminal 4?

Question

We have a 5:30am flight out of JFK, which means we'd have to arrive around 3:30/4:00am. We live about an hour away, which means we'd have to leave about 2:30/3:00am...which means we'd have to we'd have to wake up at about 1:30/2:00am. SO our plan was to just go at like 11 or 12 the night before and rest there/sleep on the plane. My question is this: Will we be able to access the area of the airport where we can relax on chairs and use toilets at this time in the night and 5/6 hours hours before our flight, or are we going to be stuck on cold floors with full bladders and no boarding passes for four hours?

Airports are 24 hrs hun, you'll be able to go near your gate and relax in the chairs.

Potentially, you may not be able check in, or check your bags at that point. Additionally, security may not even be open. But as long as those things are able to happen, there is no reason you cant go in the terminal are.

HOWEVER, Terminal 4 at JFK has alot of seating and shops pre-security. So even if you cant check-in, or get through security, you can at least rest on the seats before security check.

Yes. I was just in T.4 one month ago. You have lots of seating etc etc... Also JKF is my cousin and I know most of the Airport (even though I am Irish).
