Does anybody know of good places to train Judo in Orange County California. I know some community colleges offer classes or sometimes like the Boys Club or YMCA might offer classes. Does anybody know of any Free places to train, or cheaper places?

  1. The easiest way is to check the Yellow Pages under

    Martial Arts.

The YMCA is probably your best bet for free classes -- provided you are a member of the YMCA.

Even if you are not a member, a 12 month membership at the Y is a lot cheaper than most martial arts classes taught at dojos, especially when you take all of the extras that you get with your membership!

  2. I guessing a dojo.

  3. joining a judo club is the cheapest route. But i have yet to find one in the OC. I want to learn as well.

  4. Orange County Judo Training Center has two locations in Orange County.

We have an Anaheim school and a Costa Mesa school. You can find out more about our schools at our website. http://www.ocjudo.com

We offer a free trial at both locations. At the Costa Mesa facility, Gracie Barra-Costa Mesa also offers Brazilian Jiujitsu, Muay Thai and no-gi grappling. You can get a free week pass to all of the programs we offer at Costa Mesa.

You can learn more about Gracie Barra-Costa Mesa at their website  http://www.graciebarra-costamesa.com
