  1. not a sham just not worth it. the man who says ----is his real SS# has had his identity stolen like 6 times now lol

  2. It MUST be true. You got an email!

  3. Life lock CEO Todd Davis listed his social security number in a series of ads, claiming that since he used the Life Lock service he would be safe from people trying to steal his identity.

At least one person managed to steal his identity despite the Life Lock service. The culprit put a loan of $500 on the record of Todd Davis, something he claims was possible because the smaller loan company did not use one of the three major credit reporting firms.

So, is life lock a sham? Well, it works... as long as the crooks doesn't try to be crooks and use smaller credit reporting firms that are not connected to the Life Lock system. In my opinion: If you are paying for Life Lock, you have already been scammed.

  4. It isn't worth the money and doesn't protect you like it claims.  But I wouldn't call it a sham, just another example of marketing by stretching-the-truth.
