  1. do WHATEVER you are asked to do by the coach, if you don't understand a drill ask, and make an impression of yourself, show em' why your their!

  2. dont swing ur arms when u pass cuz it goes straight up or over and out. dont let the ball drop, coaches love players that go for every ball so dive to get them.

  3. Do the best you can be, but if u don't make it , their lose not yours.

                            *Good Luck*

  4. I WOULD SAY JUST JOIN A SMALLER TEAM THAT DOESNT INCLUDE TRYOUTS LIKE SPORTS OF ALL SORTS YOU AUTOMATICALLE MAKE THE TEAM AND PRACTICE IT ALWAYS MAKES BETTER...

  5. bend your legs, dont swing  when you serve make surre its hard and long or near the 10 foot  line is good also. if your a setter bend your legs and make it high. if you a hittter make sure you can block and that you can bend your rist

  6. Attitude and effort... show you are open to help/suggestions and then put the suggestions to use.  Coaches appreciate talent but they also want people that they can teach (don't act like they're perfect they way they are).

  7. Do everythign the coach asks you to do, show what your good at, be open to suggestions, get in shape by running on stairs or leg excercises to increase your leg muscles. practice at home, grab a friend and pepper (bump set spike to each other) with them. Serve against a wall, passa gainst a wall. Just play as much voleyball as you can before it and you'll do great!

  8. Do everything the coach tells you, ask as many questions as you can, and above all practice a lot, volleyball is all about mucle memory and getting your body to go through the motions without having to think about it and the only way you will be able to do this is to practice it over and over and over...anyway good luck and try to have fun volleyball is a great sport
