JVC AV-32260 timer led flashes

Television will not power up after electrical surge but timer led flashes. Any ideas?TV WILL NOT STAY ON. WHEN YOU TRY TO POWER UP THE RED LIGHT INDICATOR WILL NOT STAY ON. IT FLASHES AND GOES OFF AFTER 1 OR 2 SECONDS.. I'VE RESET THE POWER STRIP I'VE CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS AND I'VE VACUUMED ALL DUST AROUND THE TV
