JVC Camcorder issues?

When I try to record, it says that the lens cover is on, but it's not. It lets me play back what I recorded, but I cannot record. If you know anythingb outt how I could fux this please help!!

This is due to an issue with the CCD (video imaging chip) for many JVC camcorders - check if your camcorder model is listed on this website:
