JVC GR-DX67EX Digital Video Camera - Safe Mode...

Question

The fault is - as usual - "Camera is in Safe Mode - remove and replace battery"
I have previously fixed this by leaving the battery out for 24 hours and on re-insertion, quickly pressed the Menu Button which has allowed me to scroll down and reset the camera. Everything was then OK.
This time I can't get the menu to stay long enough to reset before the fault message comes up again.
Is there a hidden reset button somewhere - accessible with a pin, as there is on other equipment?
