  1. I have this camera too...I like it a lot.  Sure there are better cameras, but if you look at reviews online, you will see that it has done pretty well.

  2. This camera is a nightmare! I've seen better mobile phone videos than this. It freezes all the time and the output video file is unnaturally stretched. The battery life is a joke. It sucks big time. I returned mine and baught Panasonic HDC-SD9 (a bit more expensive). Don't buy it! If you want to spend the same money on smthg better go for Canon FS100.

btw - you can check the quality in this video - it was shot with that camcorder

  3. This is a decent model but it is not very popular.  Canon and Sony dominate camcorders and have really nice models.

Try this - go to this site and type in what you are looking for.  They will search around and find you the best deal.  Be as specific as possible with what you are looking for!

    Good luck!

  4. Not a bad price, I actually have this camcorder, but I bought mine a long time ago, way back in early-mid 2007, although back then they were only available in silver and  I paid £325 for mine.

You can now get them in Redish pink and blue and not to mention there is now a £30 cashback offer.

It is small and high in quality, you get used to the buttons and functions within 5 minutes, it has a decent feature which allows you to choose the quality, which can also extend how much you can record.  I bought a tripod seperately, so you can use it with them, which makes the image stabilizer even better.  I can't say much for the quality of photo's it can take as they are quite poor, but I do have my Powershot for that.

You can also use an SD card that allows you to extend the memory even more and you can use it for images or video.  The sound quality on this is quite good, not amazing as it's not HD, but for a standard Camcorder it's not bad, the 30GB HDD is quite handy, but software that comes in the package is poor, so I suggest using Adobe premier elements.

The battery life isn't too bad, but you can buy higher capacity ones at a higher cost, but you could always take the adaptor with you.
