JVC Subwoofer for suroundsound help!!??!!?

Question

I just hooked up my JVC sub into my reciever, i hear the subwoofer, but on the back it says min/max, i got it jacked and the sound it just as loud as the min...help ne one???

make sure the connections are all secure.  make sure the bass is turned up on the receiver.

if every thing is working correctly and you still dont have the sound you want you might want to buy a powered subwoofer or new recevier
