JVC TH5 Home theatre system

Hi
The problem is as follows:
Dvd stuck in unit. removed dvd but now the exchanger do not work. Press dvd 1 #5 opens. display do not show open or closed. Shows that there are 2 dvds in the exchanger and there is none. tried to time the gears but no avail. need help if someone could
