JVC miniDV camcorder problem?

ok i have a JVC camcorder, and its not even a year old, yesterday when i went to use it it worked fine and everything, but then later that night i went to go watch the tapes i recorded and there were blue thick lines threw it, i could see what i recorded but there was also lines threw it, i have been trying it all day to see if it stopped and its still there. how would i go about fixing this????

Dirt accumulates on the recording/erasing head surface while tape plays & wears off on contact.

Buy a tape cleaning cassette & clean heads - follow printed instructions. Tip: when using a new tape... fast forward, then rewind before recording.

Test & see the results...If the stripes still appear, probably summers' just around the corner! ... then you'll have to bring your vcam to the nearest service shop.
